That Luka Modrić is one of the most talented football players on the world we know for a long time. But after Euro the entire world is aware of him. The confirmation of his talent came from France, from notable L’Equipe which pronounced him the best young football player of Euro.

In their edition French journal L’Equipe has chosen five football players up to 25 years who have signed Euro, and what makes us especially proud is the fact that Luka Modrić has been chosen as the best. except him, on the list are Jurij Zhirkhov (Russia), Giorgio Chiellini (Italy), Igor Akinfeev (Russia) and Arda Turan (Turkey).

Describing him as a player who has unpredictable dribblings and inovative way of keeping the ball, L’Equipe claims that he will become the star of Premiership.

“After realising his transfer to Tottenham worth Є24 million, few weeks before Euro, short by height, midfielder of Croatian national team hasclaimed the status of the future star of Premiership. Because of his dribblings, inovative way of keeping the ball and unstoppable moving towards the opponent’s defence he earned respect and admiration of European medias. The selector of Croatian national team Slaven Bilić said that he is the best midfielder in the world, while the British tabloids are already calling him the Balkan Cruyff”, says the explanation of Luka’s qualities.

UEFA’s spies inserted in the lines of Croatian fans had recorded few individuals among the mass of tens of thousands of people who perked around Austria accenting forbidden symbols of nazi regime. Moral verticals from Nyon took lash in their hands and are aiming to show Croats where they belong.

Serbian sites have been writing that UEFA prepares intensive response on the behavior of Croatian fans who have been glorifying a long time ago deceased hegemonistic regimes. Mentioned were throwing out Croatian clubs from European competitions and matches of national team in front of empty stands. Either Serbian journalists have nothing else to write about or gentlefolk from UEFA went too far and lost their compass.

It is comic that the story has been even started because of group of fans who could be counted on the fingers of one hand in that mass. That kind of behavior is inadmissible and should have been sanctioned right then. The individual conforms for their acts and there the story ends.

It would be like that if there aren’t Slaven Bilić and Luka Modrić. The two of them have cooked the whole story up. The two of them, and the others from Croatian national team, led Croatia to the victory over Italy, Germany and England. They brought us, in football way, beyond majority of European football forces which got used to share compliments and wealthy prizes. Now, here came intruder and that’s not good. That’s why Croatia is on target, when everything sums and seizes, because of four or nine irresponsible ‘fans’.

Samuel Eto’o is searching for an exit from Spanish league for years because he feels sick of the imitation of monkey from the stands whenever he makes a move and sluggishness of Spanish Football Federation when the time comes to punish that excesses. One is sure, he won’t go to neither Lazio nor Verona, because he would be greeted in the same way there, garnished with the dolls of hung black men on the stands. It is not coincidentally that only white men play in these clubs. Neither in France, for example PSG, he wouldn’t trifle any better.

But why even mentioning Spain, Italy, France and the rest giant forces which adopt the regulations? Their inhabitants are in surpassingly higher mental level than the underdeveloped Croats and they lead the world towards safer and brighter future. Luckily for democratic order, they aren’t prone to hushing up. Luckily.

Epilogue is clear - Croats have to pose the cheek and wait sonorous slap, after which the entire world will know about what kind of primitives is all this about. We can be happy that they haven’t taken away all balls and forbidden us from playing football, because of the sins of simple number of people it is logic that the entire football nation has to suffer. Don’t spare us, we haven’t deserved.

Looks like UEFA has decided on the final confrontation with CFF. After the punishment because of racial excesses of Croatian fans in a match against Turkey, another ‘greeting card’ came to the address of Croatian Football Federation.

Officials from Nyon have punished our football federation with enormously high Є60.000 because of one thrown cannon bump and few lighted torches in the same match, against Turkey.

“We are punished with really tremendous digit. People from UEFA in charge for tracking the behavior of fans calculated14 or 15 torches and one atomic bump, and although it wasn’t said, they have probably counted and prior similar behavior of Croatian fans.We have complained on that decision”, said Zorislav Srebrić.

Acts of UEFA towards CFF more look like an inquisition than educational means. The proof for that is an absolutely absurd part which is connected with the punishment for racial excesses, in which our fans were called up for singing “U boj, u boj, za narod svoj” (”In battle, in battle, for your nation”). After that Srebrić had to explain UEFA that this isn’t any kind of invitation to war, but the line from opera “Nikola Å ubić Zrinski” written by Ivan plemeniti Zajc.

The additional proof that ’something is rotten in the state of Denmark’ is also the source from which information that Croatia will be drastically punished came from. The honor to publish that exclusive news acquired the journal from Beograd Večernje novosti. Political background of this action of UEFA against CFF is even more and more sure. If we also take into consideration the banner which Torcida hung out in a match against Turkey on which was written “Against modern football” it is clear why the bosses from Nyon pulls their hair on the mention of Croatia and our fans.

Consistency of UEFA’s officials will be seen when on the agenda comes sanctioning of Spanish national team and their fans, who have, in quarter-final against Italy and semi-final against Russia, lightened more torches, what was clearly seen on TV broadcast.

Although he played only one match on Euro, the one against Poland, Nikola Pokrivač caught the eye of Toulouse, the first division club which finished the last season on the 17th place.

Toulouse has already employed four reinforcements, and now, they would like to bring Pokrivač from Monaco. Ex-player of Dinamo Zagreb has in January signed a three-years contract with Monaco worth Є3.5 million. But, since then, he has played only nine matches.

Many proclaimed the Croats as the best fans, but UEFA disagree. Because of racial manners of smaller group of fans in a match against Turkey, UEFA punished Croatian Football Federation with 20.000 Swiss francs.

The reason of punishment are the fans who had smaller racial excesses on a quarter-final match against Turkey, and that intensely hampered to UEFA, whose main action on this Euro is - Unite Against Racism.

Even the fact that Croatian fans were pronounced the best from almost all journalists, and also from the side of the host. The flag with the photo of Pavelić in the middle, few scarf with the symbols of UstaÅ¡as and chanting Za dom, spremni! (For home, ready!) caught the eye (and ear) of UEFA’s agents, which reported CFF to UEFA’s discipline commission.

There were even some rumours that Croatian clubs could be thrown out of UEFA’s competitions for this season, but that is obviously too much. Croatian Football Federation published statement before the penalty has been set out:

“We are fencing and adjudging any racial or discriminating behaviour of small part of fans, so as emphasising the flags which are in opposition with rules and regulations of FIFA, UEFA and CFF. The same thing refers to any form of abusive messages. This behaviour isn’t characteristic for the true fans of Croatian national team, who have, in larger part of the tournament, shown appropriate behaviour and friendly relationship with the fans of other national teams.

CFF constantly takes up and participates in various actions of FIFA and UEFA No to racism. We’l continue with this activity even more intensively, by that searching for new forms of preventing racial excesses. CFF directly takes part in program With football against racism in Europe, also continuously in action Unite against racism. This kind of actions are taking up and in chasis of all representations of Croatia, same as in the cup matches in Croatia”, the statement quotes.

After all, UEFA today brought decision to punish CFF with 20.000 Swiss francs because of xenophobal and racial behaviour of Croatian fans in quarter-final match against Turkey and emphasising racial slogans.

CFF has three days to appeal on this decision.

Striker of Croatian national team Eduardo da Silva because of the fatal foul of Birmingham’s defender Martin Taylor on 23rd February this year, unfortunately had to miss Euro.He was working out his rehabilitation program in Rio de Janeiro and has been commenting games for Brazilian national television.

Luckily, the monotony of hard everyday recovery is close to the end, striker of Gunners feels great and in two weeks he should show up at the start of club’s preparations for the new season.

“We are all very happy that his rehabilitation is going so well and we look forward to his soon returning to the team. I’ll have detail informations when I see him on the training. I believe everything will be all right with him and he will soon achieve the same level of form which has been adorning him in our club. For him, special training has been prepared, everything is planned into details”, said assistan coach of Arsenal Boro Primorac for Sportske novosti.

The list has been put together by a journalist of notable British journal Independent, whose wish was to reveal whose name have the scouts been writing in their note books the most during the Euro.

Notable British journal has in the number from Saturday published the list of players for who they believe, have attracted the most attention by their appearances on Euro.

Jason Burton, the author of the text, says that these are 10 players whose surnames have been written down in scouts’ note books the most and who will most probably face great transfers this summer.

So, here is who are they according to his opinion, what is approximately their current price and where could they go:

1. Andrej Arshavin, attacking midfielder, 27 years

current club: Zenit

market value: Є25 million, probably even more

interested: Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester City, Everton, Newcastle

most probable buyer: Barcelona

2. David Villa, striker, 26 years

current club: Valencia

market value: Є25 million

interested: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool

most probable buyer: Barcelona or Real Madrid

3. Arda Turan, left winger, 21 years

current club: Galatasaray

market value: Є12.6 million

interested: Newcastle, Juventus, Milan, Arsenal

most probable buyer: currently leads Newcastle, but the player said he would love to play in Italy the most

4. Roman Pavlyuchenko, striker, 26 years

current club: Spartak Moscow

market value: Є10 million

interested: Celtic, Manchester City, Barcelona, Sevilla, Arsenal

most probable buyer: Barcelona

5. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, striker, 24 years

current club: Ajax

market value: Є37 million

interested: Inter, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Roma

most probable buyer: the player rejected Inter and allegedly would love to go to Manchester United

6. Karim Benzema, striker, 20 years

current club: Lyon

market value: Є37 million

interested: Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Milan

most probable buyer: although it looks like Lyon wants too much, Manchester United could start making a deal

7. Miguel Veloso, midfielder, 22 years

current club: Sporting Lisbon

market value: Є25 million

interested: Milan, Arsenal, Juventus, Manchester United

most probable buyer: Milan, maybe Juventus

8. Juri Zhirkov, left back, 24 years

most probable buyer: Chelsea

9. Ivan Rakitić, midfielder, 20 years

current club: Schalke

market value: Є12.6 million

interested: Juventus, Inter, Chelsea

most probable buyer: fast, troublesome midfielder who can play on both wings, most probably will finish in Juventus

10. Valon Behrami, midfielder, 22 years

current club: Lazio

market value: Є6.3 million

Niko Kranjčar is, after Croatian knock-out of Euro, enjoying his vacation and expects his third season in Portsmouth, for which will preparations start on 8th July.

One of the greatest legends of Arsenal and asistant of manager Pompey Tony Adams said that they will continue asking for more work on the field and doing more defensive tasks in the next season from the member of Croatian national team.

“I think that Kranjčar’s returning on our half doesn’t dull his attacking abilities. I even think it enriches them. He’ll have the ball more and he can come to the opponent’s penalty box from different angels. Players must defend together and attack together”, thinks Adams.

“We can leave Kranjčar in the attack, but than he’ll never get enough passes. Wewant him to come back for the ball and than pulls our game forward. In that situation he can get it early and then wotk off the rest of action. He has realized what Premiership is and he knows that the player isn’t complete if he only stands in attack and does nothing, and we have to admitt that he is the one who strenghtened our game on the left side.”, said assistant of Harry Redknapp.
